| Living Shamrock is an ideal way of fundraising. With the selling instructions printed on the cards, it is possible for most of your shamrock to be sold prior to it arriving at your school and then it is just a matter of delivery. Currently there are 60 schools in Ireland using Living Shamrock to raise funds for their school. Living Shamrock as a fundraising idea is a tried, tested and successful venture. Once established by your school, it can become an annual event. One of the benefits is that the Shamrock can be potted as a houseplant afterwards. | |||
Living Shamrock have been working successfully with schools since 1996, helping them to raise funds between €1120 and €5,500 for their school.
How it Works
- Brochures, Poster and Fundraising Cards are issued to the School well in advance of St. Patrick’s Day. (usually by the first week of February)
- You put the poster on display in your school, indicating the purpose of the fundraising. (optional)
- The children use the fundraising cards to sell the Shamrock for €3.00 per unit. The sales are completed and the money collected in advance of St. Patrick’s Day.
- You advise Living Shamrock the number of Shamrock you need by the end of the first week of March.
- Living Shamrock sends you the number of Shamrocks you have sold. You will receive them (25 shamrocks in each box) by Courier to arrive to you on an agreed date. (at least by March 14th)
